Goos Browser ยท made by Ameka
The super intelligent web browser.
Goos learns how you work, sees what you're doing, and does the next thing before you ask. Its brain runs on your own computer, so there's no cloud AI and no API key. It searches with Goos, the search engine on this site.
Install Goos for Mac in one step
Open Terminal (press ⌘-Space and type “Terminal”), paste this line and press Return. It puts Goos in your Applications folder, adds Ollama if you don't have it, and opens Goos. There's nothing to approve in System Settings.
curl -fsSL https://goos.si/install.sh | sh
Free. For Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or newer), macOS 13 or later.
Open it and drag Goos into Applications. The first time you open Goos, macOS says it can't check it for malware, because Goos isn't notarized by Apple yet. Go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.
Install Goos for Windows in one step
Open PowerShell (press the Windows key and type “PowerShell”), paste this line and press Enter. It puts Goos in your Start menu and on your desktop, adds Ollama if you don't have it, and opens Goos. No administrator rights are needed, and Windows won't show a warning.

Free. For Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. You can also download the zip for Intel and AMD PCs or the zip for ARM PCs. Using other apps and talking to Goos are Mac-only for now.
After it's installed
- Goos downloads its brain the first time. It picks the smartest model your Mac can run and gets it through Ollama, the free engine that runs it. That takes a few minutes. If you used the disk image, get Ollama from ollama.com/download first.
- Let Goos see and use your Mac when it asks. That's how it works in other apps for you. You can turn it off any time in System Settings.
What it does
- It keeps an eye on what you're doing and handles the obvious next step on its own. Everything else, it offers once.
- Every page you stay on gets up to three suggested next steps, right under the address bar.
- It can see your screen and use any app on your Mac, not just web pages.
- You can talk to it. Say "Goos" (it's said "goose") and what you want, and it answers out loud. Voice needs whisper.cpp for now, which you can add with
brew install whisper-cpp. Without it, you type instead. - It learns your name, email and address from forms you fill in, and fills in the rest for you.
What it won't do without you
Goos waits for your yes before it buys anything, sends or posts anything, deletes anything, or books anything. Its AI never types your passwords, card numbers or ID numbers. These rules are written into the code itself, so they hold no matter what the model thinks.
How smart it is depends on your Mac
Goos uses the smartest open model that fits your Mac's memory. 16 GB or more is best. If you have a bigger Mac on your network, point Goos at it in Settings, and Goos gets smarter at once.
Goos is early, and it's changing fast. It's made by Ameka, which is also building Goos OS, the super intelligent operating system.
